Hi all! I’m Jenny Kerley, the other owner of Kerley’s Fitness. You’ll usually see me at the front desk, cleaning, working with personal training clients, or chasing around our kiddo.

Much like Justin, I grew up around sports. I learned at an early age that sports were a great outlet for me and I excelled at them. I played soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, and golf. I loved not having to just stick with just one sport – until college. I started lifting weights early (at 14) because I knew that it would help my athletic performance. I was incredibly lucky to earn a scholarship to play softball at Division I, collegiate level. So – fitness has always been an INCREDIBLY important and beneficial thing in my life.

I graduated from college with a degree in Sports Medicine. After obtaining my necessary certifications I began working at Santa Clara University as the athletic trainer for Men’s Waterpolo and Cheer. While I was at SCU, I went back to school (not at SCU) and obtained my Master’s Degree in Sports Administration. After a few years, I left SCU and moved to a sports medicine/primary care clinic in San Jose, CA. It was at this job (and due to a brilliant doctor) that I fell in love with concussion care. I had the opportunity to help set up a concussion clinic and manage it. It was awesome.

Now; I co-own and manage Kerley’s Fitness and take on personal training clients. I work primarily with injury prevention and rehabilitation, and female-specific/women’s health personal training. While I do specialize,  I can work with anyone of any age that is looking to get into personal training to improve their overall wellness.

Fitness has always been a part of my life, and it always will. I’m riddled with old injuries, and without exercise, I would have trouble getting out of bed in the mornings. For me, it’s not about looking like a fitness model, it’s about keeping my body strong so that I can live the life I want to live for as many years as I can.
